Reporting to the Fleet Programs Manager, key responsibilities include:

• Working with internal and external stakeholders to identify and actively manage all fleet safety threats.
• Provide leadership to Maintenance Program Engineer and manage individual development.
• Process improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• The review and resolution of fleet maintenance program issues including investigations.
• Ensuring the Approved Maintenance Program remains 100% compliant with applicable regulations.
• Ensuring the Approved Maintenance Program is implemented and maintained with 100% accuracy into TRAX. 
• Reviewing reliability reports, maintenance deferrals and scheduled maintenance findings to ensure effectiveness of the AMP.
• Providing Fleet Technical Management for Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Japan, Network Aviation and Express Freighters Australia
• Minimising scheduled and unscheduled maintenance by escalating/optimizing tasks where possible to optimize fleet performance.

• Experience managing Aircraft Maintenance Programs, including end of lease and entry into service activity
• Have sound knowledge of CASA regulations particularly Part 42 and Part 145
• Analytical ability using IT platforms (Excel, Word, Access) and understanding of TRAX, MyBoeingFleet and Airbus World
• Have exceptional prioritisation, organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong personal working relationships 
• Be a highly motivated self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure
• Qualified to engineering degree level (BEng) or be a trained industry engineering professional (Aircraft trade certificate and/or Aircraft Maintenance License holder)
• Process driven, with experience in constructing new processes to deliver business goals
